Sober Space was created by a creative, young woman with a vision to create a safe and healthy space for sober and sober-curious femmes, non-binary folx and women. Sober Space is rapidly growing with members spanning across the globe.
When our client came to us with her vision of Sober Space, the We Build Databases technical team advised on a mobile-first approach, using React JS technologies to build a custom iOS and Android mobile application. Sober Space was built to allow member users the ability to search and find new sober-friendly activities and things to do, check in daily to access energy and mood, get motivational quotes and journal prompts, and connect with other Sober Space member users with similar or common interests. An Administrator backend application was developed for management of activities, ability to review abuse or misuse of the application, and supervision of member users. The We Build Databases team continues to support the Sober Space mobile application; with ongoing development of new, advanced features, functionalities and overall enhancements to the end user-experience.

“We Build Databases has given me the tools to connect with so many individuals on their road to sobriety. Our launch was a huge success with over 200 downloads and registrations in the first week!”

We aim to build things right the first time every time. You deserve peace of mind and should feel confident about your new software. We guarantee our work. Period.
Before we write a single line of code, we make sure we understand your data challenges so we can build a solution that meets your specific needs. We want to get everything right, from the software look and layout to the coding and framework that supports it. We take the time to learn who needs access to which types of data, so we can build in role-based permissions to restrict access and protect sensitive data.
