The Johns Hopkins University (JHU) Institute for Education Policy (IEP) was searching for a database strategist and development partner to work directly with their team of subject matter experts to produce a nationally recognized research platform aimed at improving education at the K-12 grade levels.
WBD was selected to define, design and deliver: School Culture Survey 360TM, Knowledge MapTM, and Teacher Survey of Curriculum Use. Today, WBD remains a trusted partner of JHU and continues to enhance, optimize, and maintain this comprehensive tool set that improves education, curricula development, and centralized reporting for the US educational system of teachers, parents, and students.

A major functionality addition was the Groups feature, which allows users to create and manage groups of schools, providing a way to view data for individual schools or entire districts in a consolidated format.
Additionally, the platform now offers a Three Highest/Lowest Scores by Constituency report, which quickly identifies areas of strength and areas in need of attention. The pervasive navigation with report filters allows users to filter data in real-time as they navigate through reports, enhancing their ability to drill down into specific insights..
Furthermore, automatic data ingestion from Qualtrics and built-in survey validation ensure seamless data flow and data accuracy, making the platform more efficient and reliable.
