MCHS is the largest private group medical practice in Wisconsin and one of the largest in the United States, with more than 1,200 medical providers representing over 170 specialties and subspecialties. The System has health care centers in more than 50 locations serving northern, central and western Wisconsin.
The team at Marshfield Clinic contacted We Build Databases to assist with a Microsoft Access to MySQL database conversion. Their existing Microsoft Access database was limiting their ability to scale; specifically the Radiology and Nuclear Medicine departments. With help from our client, the We Build Databases architecture team was able to construct an online application which gave ultimate flexibility for managing employee badges and training, management of sources, equipment and survey meters and applicable follow up and maintenance history. Marshfield Clinic’s centralized database gives the administrative team the ability to run a multitude of reports with varying filters and parameters.
